On the seventy-fifth anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, the military parade will be held in Moscow and many Russian cities today, Wednesday.

About 14 thousand soldiers are participating in the victory parade in Moscow, and 75 warplanes and helicopters will fly over the capital and Red Square.

Participating groups and military equipment will pass for about an hour and a half. Military equipment from World War II, including the famous T-34 tanks, as well as the latest Russian ground and air military equipment, will pass through it. Groups from 13 countries are participating in the military parade in Moscow.

On May 26, President Vladimir Putin announced during a meeting with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu that the victory review will take place on June 24, the day the historical victory was reviewed in 1945.

Putin instructed the Minister of Defense to take all necessary measures to protect the review participants from any epidemiological risks.

Festive events are held in 28 Russian cities, which are the heroic cities and cities where the leadership of the military departments, armies, and military fleets are located.

Leaders of foreign countries arrive in Moscow to participate in the celebrations dedicated to the 75th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.
